Your Online Questionnaire

Everything begins with your online questionnaire. This is where you answer our questions on your symptoms, medical history and any changes in your hormonal health. Your answers determine your eligibility for the treatment and help us assess how best to alleviate your symptoms. 

Medical Review

Once your questionnaire is submitted, our expert medical team carefully reviews your information. Their job is to confirm that hormone treatment is both safe and appropriate for you and confirm the dosage for your symptoms. 

The Final Check 

Before your treatment is created, your prescription goes through one more review by a pharmacist at the Specialist Pharmacy, who we partner with. This is to ensure everything is correct. This extra step ensures everything is accurate, appropriate, and ready to go.

Formulating Your Treatment

This is where the magic happens (or science, to be precise). Our hormone treatments come in either an easy to apply topical cream or in oral capsule form. Our custom-made medications are created from scratch, based on your unique prescription. Unlike standard medications that come in fixed strengths and standard formulations, hormone treatments are made just for you and in the exact dose your body needs.

How We Customise Your Treatment

At Hormones + You we offer four different types of treatments including testosterone cream to improve libidio, progesterone cream to combat PMS, melatonin capsules to help with sleep, and DHEA to improve your energy and hormone regulation. 

Once your prescription reaches the lab, here's what happens next:

1. Ingredient Selection

Only pharmaceutical-grade, bioidentical hormones are used. These hormones are structurally identical to the ones your body naturally produces, which makes them easier for your body to recognise and process. They’re sourced from trusted suppliers and rigorously tested for purity.

2. Precision Measuring & Mixing

Your exact dosage is carefully measured using advanced lab equipment that ensures consistency down to the milligram. The hormones are then mixed using specialised machinery in a sterile, controlled environment, following strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

And Voilà! Your hormone treatment is ready to go. 

3. Shipping Your Treatment

Once your treatment is complete, it goes through a final quality control check. Then, it’s securely packaged and delivered directly to you. We include clear instructions on how to use your treatment, along with contact information should you have any questions. 

This complete process from taking the questionnaire to your treatment being sent out to you via the post takes just  4 - 6 days.

What happens if my treatment needs to be adjusted?

You’ll receive a new supply of your hormone treatment every 3 months. Before each renewal, we’ll send you a short follow-up questionnaire to check how you're feeling and how the treatment is working for you. If your symptoms have changed, we’ll adjust your next prescription as needed. 

We’ll ask you to complete a blood test after 12 months of using any of our treatments, except for our melatonin sleep capsules.This helps us monitor your progress and make sure your dosage is still safe and effective going forward.
