– Apply 1 pump of cream in the morning around the same time every day to the inside of the forearm, upper arm or inner thigh
– Never apply to open sores, wounds, or irritated skin.
– Completely clean and dry the skin. Squeeze 1 pump of the cream on the appropriate area. Using a circular motion, rub in the medication until it is absorbed and the area feels dry. Let the medication dry for a few minutes before getting dressed to prevent your clothes from wiping it off your skin.
– Wait half an hour after application before bathing or swimming to ensure the best absorption.
– Rotate the site of application to avoid skin irritation and saturation issues.
– The cream will take 30 minutes to absorb so please refrain from applying anything further during this time. Should you need to apply sunscreen please do so 30 minutes after you’ve applied your hormone cream.

Months 0-3: Most women get relief of their symptoms in less than a week, for others it can take three months. If you’re not seeing improvement in symptoms by 2-3 months don’t panic, but before you re-order you need to liaise with a H+ You clinician as you may need an increased dose.
Months 3-6: Most women using testosterone cream will have already seen visible results.
Months 6-12: Most women will have significant improvement in their symptoms. The full results of treatment can be expected after 9-12 months. Most women need to continue testosterone cream for symptom improvement to be maintained. Some women find that after using their cream for some months or years, they can discontinue using the cream as their symptoms have cleared up.

– You live outside the U.K

– You partake in professional sports competitions
Too much testosterone could cause the following side effects:
Hyper-aggressiveness
Excessive oiliness of skin
Increased pimples/acne
Increased hair growth on body, face &/or place of application
Frontal hair loss from the head
Stop using the medicine and talk to your H+Y clinician if you have any concerns.
Store this medicine at room temperature Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after its beyond use date, which is printed on the dispensing label
Although bioidentical testosterone cream helps many women, this medicine may not work for everyone. If you have no improvement in your symptoms after 6 months of use you should speak to your H + You clinician – it might be that a different dose is recommended or that you consider stopping treatment.
